Part-Time Web Designer (4 Hour Contract, Extension Possible)

Location: Chatsworth ( Do Not contact about Remote ! )

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (4 hours/day)

Job Type: Part-Time Contract (initial 4-hour engagement with potential for extension)

About the Role

We’re looking for a motivated and creative Web Designer to support ongoing projects on a part‑time basis. This role begins with a 4‑hour contract, with the possibility of additional hours or long‑term work based on performance and project needs. Experience in the automotive industry—whether through e‑commerce, product catalogs, aftermarket parts, or dealership‑related design—is a strong plus, as many of our projects involve automotive‑focused platforms and branding.

Responsibilities : Front End and Back End, both needed.

  • Design clean, modern, and user‑friendly web pages
  • Work with OpenCart themes, layouts, and customizations
  • Collaborate on projects involving AI‑driven features and API integrations
  • Ensure responsive design and consistent branding across platforms
  • Provide design assets, documentation, and improvement suggestions
  • Apply design principles with an understanding of automotive products, terminology, and customer expectations (preferred)

Requirements

  • Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or currently pursuing Master's.
  • Experience with web design principles, UI/UX, and responsive design
  • Familiarity with OpenCart, AI Tools, and API workflows
  • Proficiency with design tools (Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, etc.)
  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Experience or familiarity with the automotive industry, automotive e‑commerce, or automotive product presentation is highly preferred
