Social Media Intern

Le Chocolat des Îles (LCDI) — Social Media & UGC Intern (TikTok + Instagram)

Position: Paid Intern (Part-Time or Full-Time)
Location: NYC preferred (Hybrid OK)
Duration: 8–12 weeks (extendable)
Start: ASAP
Compensation: Paid (hourly or monthly stipend based on experience)

About Le Chocolat des Îles

Le Chocolat des Îles (LCDI) is a premium, two-ingredient bean-to-bar dark chocolate brand. We select cocoa beans for taste first, then make the chocolate in-house — resulting in dramatically superior flavor compared to mass-market “premium” dark chocolate made from bulk processed cocoa.

We are launching an aggressive TikTok-first + Instagram Reels growth program designed to generate:

Viral awareness

Website sales

Store demand-pull (“Where can I buy this?”)

Role Overview

You will help run LCDI’s TikTok + Instagram execution program — publishing content daily, managing creators, tracking performance, and turning what works into repeatable growth.

This is not a “pretty posts” internship.
It’s growth + content testing — fast, structured, measurable.

Key Responsibilities

1) Daily TikTok + Instagram Execution

Upload and publish content to TikTok + Instagram Reels (daily)

Post with correct captions, hooks, hashtags, thumbnails

Ensure each post follows LCDI brand rules (navy/gold, correct URL/CTA)

Respond to comments daily (to drive engagement + boost reach)

Pin top comments and provoke replies strategically

2) UGC Creator Management (Fiverr + Micro-Creators)

Coordinate with Fiverr UGC creators and freelancers

Send briefs, follow up, collect drafts, request revisions

Ensure content matches LCDI talking points:

“Two ingredients only”

“Beans selected for taste”

“Most chocolate is bulk cocoa in disguise”

Maintain a creator tracker sheet (deliverables, deadlines, status)

3) Content System + Organization

Maintain organized content library:

Raw videos

Edited versions

Captions + overlays

Performance results

Label assets by format, hook type, and angle (taste / purity / ingredients / comparison)

4) Performance Tracking + Weekly Reporting

Track key metrics weekly:

Views, watch time, completion rate

Saves, shares, comments

Profile visits

Website clicks

Conversion indicators

Produce 1-page weekly report:

Top 5 performing posts

What hook/format worked

What to repeat next week

What failed + why

5) On-Camera (Optional but Strongly Preferred)

If you are comfortable:

Film simple iPhone UGC-style clips in a kitchen / countertop setting

Do taste reactions, unboxings, ingredient flips, “dark chocolate truth” clips

Record short voiceovers / commentary (even faceless is OK)

Requirements

Heavy TikTok + Instagram user (you understand what goes viral)

Strong writing for hooks & captions (fast, punchy)

Extremely organized and reliable (posting daily = non-negotiable)

Comfortable managing freelancers / creators

Familiarity with CapCut preferred (or willingness to learn)

Bonus Skills (Not Required)

Video editing (CapCut / Premiere)

Canva design

Influencer outreach / DMs

Ecommerce awareness (Shopify/WooCommerce)

Interest in premium food / wellness products

What Success Looks Like (Very Clear Targets)

By week 8:

2 posts/day consistently (TikTok + IG Reels)

LCDI content system operating smoothly (creator pipeline + posting cadence)

Weekly growth report delivered on time

Documented learnings: what angles/hook styles consistently outperform
