Marketing Communications Intern

Individuals with strong knowledge and understanding of the digital media landscape to support online marketing and communications campaigns. The intern will contribute to South Florida PBS’s online outreach and promotion using Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube, and assist in researching and developing strategies to improve audience engagement and website traffic. The intern will also support community engagement initiatives and immersive experiences, assisting with the planning, coordination, and public-facing events. Additional responsibilities include helping with community outreach efforts, co-sponsorships with local organizations, writing press releases, marketing plans, and copy for the monthly program guide. Marketing, communications, journalism, public relations, hospitality, or related majors preferred. Strong writing, editing, research, computer, and communication skills are required. Must be detail-oriented, organized, and able to communicate effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
