AV Technician

Position Overview

The AV Technician supports the setup, operation, and breakdown of audio, video, lighting, and staging equipment for live events including corporate events, conferences, galas, weddings, and social functions. No prior AV experience or personal equipment is required. We provide all equipment and training.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with load-in, setup, and breakdown of AV equipment

• Support audio systems, microphones, projectors, screens, lighting, and staging

• Follow setup diagrams, timelines, and instructions from the Production Lead

• Assist with microphone handoffs and presentation cues

• Monitor equipment during events and report issues immediately

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area

• Communicate professionally with clients, venue staff, and team members

 

Qualifications

• No AV experience required

• No personal equipment required

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

• Ability to work days, nights,  and weekends

• Reliable transportation

• Willingness to learn and follow procedures

• All-black professional attire unless otherwise instructed

• Maintain respectful, calm, and professional conduct

• Follow company safety standards and event protocols
