Campus Ambassador — Maroon (UMiami/FIU - $30/hr)

Compensation & Time Commitment

$30/hour (paid) for ~5 hours/week on average, plus performance-based bonuses tied to measurable outcomes (e.g., verified waitlist sign-ups, event check-ins, partnerships secured, and content deliverables).

Role Overview

Maroon is hiring a Miami-based Campus Ambassador to help activate our launch by building authentic campus buzz, partnering with student organizations, and driving high-quality sign-ups. This role is ideal for a UMiami or FIU student who is deeply plugged into campus life and can represent a premium, intentional brand in a way that feels natural—not spammy.

What You’ll Do

You’ll grow Maroon’s presence through direct outreach (DMs, group chats, org leader relationships), secure collaborations with student organizations (Greek life, cultural orgs, pre-professional groups, sports clubs, etc.), and support social-first promotion on TikTok and Instagram. You’ll also help execute occasional in-person activations and our February event, bringing the right people into the room and into the app.

Who We’re Looking For

You’re highly connected on campus, comfortable starting conversations, and able to deliver consistently week to week. You’re organized, responsive, and can hit clear targets without needing hand-holding. Bonus points if you’ve done marketing, event promotion, student org leadership, or influencer/community work—and if you can communicate Maroon’s “intentional dating” positioning with confidence.

Location

Miami-based, with priority for University of Miami and Florida International University students.
