Contract Role (1099) with Strong Path to W2 Conversion
Target Compensation: $70,000 – $90,000 base + performance incentives
Location: Remote (US-based), Miami, FL, or Syracuse, NY
Reports To: Founder / Chief Commercial Officer
Expected Ownership Timeline: 60 days to full functional ownership

VOTIX is an enterprise SaaS platform for drone orchestration, remote operations, real-time streaming, and command-and-control. We enable public safety agencies, security teams, critical infrastructure operators, smart cities, and defense organizations to deploy and scale Drone-as-First-Responder (DFR), autonomous inspection, and mission-critical aerial operations safely, compliantly, and efficiently.
Our platform integrates with leading UTM, airspace intelligence, weather, detect-and-avoid (DAA), ADS-B, and autonomy systems. It is actively deployed across public safety, smart city, defense, and enterprise environments in the U.S. and 15 more countries.
We are entering a rapid growth phase and are building a serious commercial engine. Marketing at VOTIX is a core growth function, not a support role.
Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Marketing Specialist who can own and execute the marketing function from end to end. This is a high-ownership, hands-on role for someone who can move fast, think strategically, and execute without heavy structure.
You will be the primary marketing operator for VOTIX, working directly with the founder and commercial leadership, and coordinating with VOTIX’s allies and external agencies. This role is intentionally designed to evolve into Marketing Manager as the company scales.
This is not a coordinator role. This is a builder + owner role.

1. Public Safety (Police, Fire, Emergency Management, DFR programs)
2. Security & Inspections (Enterprise, industrial, energy, utilities, facilities)
3. Critical Infrastructure (energy, transportation, ports, pipelines, utilities)
4. Smart Cities & AAM initiatives
5. Defense & Government
Key Responsibilities
• Product, Solution & Vertical Marketing: Own messaging and positioning across all priority markets. Translate complex technical capabilities into clear business value.
• Content Strategy & Execution: Own the content roadmap, including blogs, white papers, case studies, website content, and campaigns.
• Demand Generation & Campaigns: Design and execute campaigns focused on SQL generation and revenue influence. Own LinkedIn, email, event-driven, and partner campaigns.
• Events & Field Marketing: Own trade show and event execution, from pre-event campaigns to post-event follow-up.
• Partner & Ecosystem Marketing: Build co-branded materials, joint solution briefs, and GTM content with partners.
• Brand & Digital Presence: Ensure enterprise-grade brand consistency across all channels.
• Analytics & Optimization: Track campaign performance, SQLs, pipeline influence, and continuously optimize.
First 60 Days – What We Expect
By the end of ~60 days, you should have a comprehensive understanding of VOTIX’s platform and markets, have aligned all core messaging, have launched active campaigns, and be operating as the de facto owner of marketing.
Speed matters. This role is about momentum.
Qualifications
Required:
• 5–8+ years of experience in B2B technology marketing
• Experience in SaaS, GovTech, Public Safety, Aerospace/Drones, Smart Cities, or Defense
• Strong ability to convert technical complexity into business value
• Excellent writing and communication skills
• Comfortable in fast-moving, high-ownership environments
Highly Desired:
• Experience marketing to public safety, government, or regulated industries
• Experience with field marketing, partner marketing, and complex solution selling
• Understanding of UAS, autonomy, airspace, and infrastructure environments
Compensation & Incentives
Base compensation: $80,000 – $90,000 (contract)
Performance incentives (5%-15%) tied directly to:
• Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs)
• Revenue-influenced pipeline
• Closed-won revenue impact
