FILM MARKETING INTERNSHIP - Theatrical Release Campaign ETHAN BLOOM (Menemsha Films Distribution)
ABOUT THE FILM: ETHAN BLOOM is an award-winning coming-of-age comedy set in Miami that premiered as the Opening Night Gala at Miami Film Festival 2025. The film stars Joshua Malina (The West Wing, Scandal), Rachelle Lefevre (Twilight Saga), and Carlos Ponce, and has secured theatrical distribution with Menemsha Films for Spring 2026 release across North America.
This is a MIAMI story told by Miami filmmakers—and we need YOUR help bringing it to our community!
THE OPPORTUNITY: Ethan Bloom LLC is seeking 2-4 passionate students to join our theatrical marketing team. This is a rare opportunity to work on a real distribution campaign with a major indie distributor. You'll gain hands-on experience in film marketing, community outreach, and multicultural audience building—essential skills for today's entertainment industry.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Create engaging social media content (Instagram, TikTok, Facebook) targeting South Florida audiences
- Lead outreach to churches, community centers, and cultural organizations in Doral, Kendall, Westchester, and Sweetwater and beyond
- Develop Spanish-language marketing materials and campaigns
- Help coordinate community screenings and group ticket sales
- Assist with grassroots marketing throughout Miami-Dade County, Broward County and Palm Beach County
- Build relationships with local businesses and organizations for promotional partnerships
- Track engagement metrics and audience response
WHAT YOU'LL GAIN:

WHO WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- Current undergraduate or graduate student
- Majors: Film, Communication, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, Entertainment & Media, Theatre, or related fields
- Strong social media skills and content creation ability
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Passionate about film and community storytelling
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) STRONGLY PREFERRED—this is a major asset for our campaign!
- Deep knowledge of Miami neighborhoods and Hispanic/Latino communities a huge plus
- Available 10-15 hours/week with flexible schedule
INTERNSHIP DETAILS: Duration: January - April 2026 (12-14 weeks) Time Commitment: 10-15 hours/week (flexible around your class schedule) Location: Remote/hybrid with occasional in-person events throughout Miami-Dade , Broward and PBC.
Compensation: Academic credit available + portfolio-building experience + IMDb credit
