Front-End Web Developer Intern
Location: Remote
Hours: ~15–20 hours/week (flexible)
Internship Time: Part-time, 3-6 months

We are looking for a curious and driven Front-End Engineering intern who is excited to gain hands-on experience building the next generation of online shopping. You'll get to work at the cutting-edge intersection of fashion and AI, helping our team of engineers develop high-performance browser extensions and mobile features that bring virtual try-ons to life. Core Responsibilities

  • Assist in developing and improving fAIshion’s mobile app using JavaScript, React, TypeScript, and WebAssembly (WASM) to ensure a smooth interface that enhances user experience
  • Enhance AI-powered virtual try-on functionality, working with computer vision and machine learning models
  • Help implement and fine-tune AI-driven size recommendation algorithms that analyze user data to provide perfect fit suggestions
  • Integrate third-party APIs for discount code matching and sync with major e-commerce platforms
  • Debug, test, and document code to ensure seamless performance across multiple browsers
  • Collaborate with designers, product managers, and AI researchers to brainstorm new features and designs; assisting in the development from a creative concept to a polished, production-ready tool

Requirements

  • Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, React, or other front-end frameworks
  • Basic understanding of machine learning, computer vision, or AI technologies

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with browser extensions, APIs, or e-commerce platforms
  • Interest in fashion and the intersection of fashion and technology
