Overview
Piche Architecture is seeking a creative and accountable Architectural Designer with 1-5 years of experience. This role needs a growth-oriented individual who seeks increasing ownership of thoughtfully detailed residential projects---from early conceptual design through construction. This role offers close collaboration with principals, real responsibility and a clear path towards project leadership and support towards architectural licensure.

Role Summary
The Architectural Designer performs a variety of assignments requiring the application of architectural techniques on assigned projects. They provide support throughout the entire project, including preparing presentations, design development, and technical documentation. Responsibilities include modeling, rendering, drafting and sketching for collaboration in the development of design concepts and details.
The Architectural Designer collaborates on design and may be responsible for conceptual design under supervision. This position requires researching, compiling, and recording of information, as well as compiling and analyzing design, planning and code studies. Also included are writing reports, preparing project specifications and permit submissions. Responsibilities include review of completed work for graphical clarity, accuracy, completion and design excellence.

Qualifications
- Accredited Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture.
- 1-5 years relevant professional experience.
- Strong design abilities.
- Demonstrated effectiveness in completing tasks fully and successfully on time.
- Shows detail-oriented care and responsibility in documenting and coordinating work.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good judgement with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
- Proficient in developing high-quality renderings.
- Proficient in AutoCAD or Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, Adobe InDesign & Photoshop, Microsoft Office & Outlook.
Work Environment
Located within walking distance to both Pearl Street and Ideal Market.
This is not a full-time remote position, and the employee must be able to commute to the office.
Most work is office based, although some time is spent visiting project sites, showrooms, vendors, etc.
Compensation & Benefits
Classification: Exempt.
Base compensation range of $63,000 to $85,000 DOE.
Professional development opportunities and support, including reimbursement for passing ARE exams.
