About Miami FC
Miami FC is a professional soccer club competing in the USL Championship. The club is focused on growing its brand, fan experience, and community presence throughout South Florida. The Merchandise Intern will play a key role in supporting retail operations and enhancing the fan experience on game days.
Position Overview
The Merchandise Intern will assist with day-to-day merchandise operations, including inventory management, new product organization, game day retail setup, and order fulfillment. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented, organized individual interested in sports business, retail operations, or event management.
Responsibilities
- Assist with inventory tracking, counting, and organization
- Support management of new merchandise arrivals (sorting, tagging, storage)
- Help set up, operate, and break down the Miami FC merchandise store on game days
- Assist with processing and shipping online merchandise orders
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of merchandise storage areas
- Support sales tracking and basic reporting as needed
- Assist with special promotions, theme nights, and merchandise activations
Qualifications
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Attention to detail and willingness to handle hands-on tasks
- Ability to work home matches, weekends, and select events
- Comfortable standing for extended periods and lifting light-to-moderate boxes
- Interest in sports, retail, or event operations preferred
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented
