PRO GOLF MANAGEMENT INTERN
Location: Kohler, WI
Opportunity
Are you someone who would love the opportunity to work as a Golf Operations Intern at one of our Five-Star award winning golf courses? Does the thought of coordinating and overseeing the daily activities of the outside service areas and/ or front desk clerk areas interest you? If so, then the position of Golf Operations Intern is for you!
As the Golf Operations Intern, you will be responsible for:
* Receiving incoming guest bags and shoes, loading carts and assisting guests with general directions.
* Daily cleaning of carts and cart storage area.
* Setting up practice facility; retrieving, cleaning, and stocking practice balls as needed.
* Cleaning and storing guests’ clubs.
* Keeping all work areas neat and orderly.
* Performing additional duties as assigned by the Professional Golf Staff.
* Setting up and coordinating carts and bags for general play and group outings.
* Helping to oversee rental of clubs by guests. Helping to coordinate transfer of clubs between Blackwolf Run, Whistling Straits, and The American Club.
* Assisting 2nd Assistant Golf Professional-Outside with supervision of Golf Service Attendants, Starters/Players Assistants, and Practice Area Attendants.
* Assisting 1st Assistant Golf Professional-Inside to supervise front desk staff.
* Assisting Tournament Division with set-up and scoring of corporate events.
* Involvement in Kohler Golf Academy Junior Golf Program.
Skills/Requirements
Must attend an official PGM Intern Program at an accredited University. Friendly, outgoing personality required.
