Remote Editorial Assistant
Purist, a luxury wellness digital and print publication has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to support the Associate Editor as a Remote Editorial Assistant.
In this role, you’ll create elevated, original content for Purist’s community of wellness lovers, while gaining valuable insight into the social media and editorial landscape. You’ll also have the opportunity to build a creative portfolio and contribute meaningfully to a mission-driven publication.
Responsibilities:
- Curate monthly wellness newsletters via ActiveCampaign
- Create organic and client-sponsored social media content (Instagram posts, reels, stories, TikToks)
- Support event and podcast promotion through digital and social channels
- Develop a social media content calendar to ensure consistent and timely posting
- Analyze social media metrics to assess the performance of campaigns and provide insights for improvement
- Conduct research and contribute ideas for content development
- Provide editorial support to the team, as needed
Qualifications:
- Passionate about all things wellness and has a strong pulse on current trends
- Skilled writer and storyteller
- An adept communicator, highly organized, resourceful and adaptable
- Experience with newsletter and social media content creation is a must

Location: Remote
Schedule: 5–10 hours/week. The team operates on EST, so availability during regular work hours is preferred. Schedule is flexible and largely deadline-based.
Pay: $17/hour
