Summer 2026 New York Media & Graphic Design Internship Program (Paid)*

The New York Internship Program is a seven-week immersive summer experience combining professional media and design internships in Manhattan and the greater New York area with leadership development, creative networking, and meaningful Jewish learning—all within a collaborative, growth-focused community. Students build real-world design and media production skills while working alongside New York's top creative professionals and peers who share their passion for visual storytelling.

Internship Experience
The core of the program is a Monday–Friday internship with design studios, media companies, and in-house creative teams throughout New York City and Long Island. Internships offer meaningful creative involvement, mentorship, and portfolio-building opportunities.

  • Work directly with design teams at leading NYC companies and organizations on live projects including branding, digital media, and visual campaigns
  • Collaborate with creative directors, art directors, and designers from concept to final delivery
  • Host companies include premier New York design agencies, corporate creative departments, media production studios, and nonprofit communications teams
  • Focus areas include graphic design, visual communication, digital design, branding, media production, video production, web design, publication design, print design, UI/UX design, photography, and digital content creation
  • *Several internships are paid
  • Select placements may continue after the program concludes

Leadership & Networking
Participants connect with New York creative professionals and business leaders through structured programming tailored to the design and media industries.

  • Weekly community mentorship brunches and group dinners with creative directors and industry professionals
  • Small-group sessions on creative leadership, design thinking, and professional portfolio development
  • Guidance from experts in branding, visual storytelling, and creative business strategy

Jewish Learning & Community
The program begins with a one-week offsite leadership and community retreat, introducing participants to an immersive Jewish learning experience. Throughout the program, participants engage in weekly learning sessions, four inspiring Shabbat experiences, and engaging discussions designed to foster creative inspiration, reflection, and personal growth. Learning experiences are welcoming and engaging for students of all backgrounds.

  • Opening one-week retreat (June 14–21, 2026)
  • Weekly Tuesday and Thursday evening group dinners and discussions
  • Four immersive Shabbat programs with three off-Shabbat weekends
  • One-on-one study and interactive talks exploring creativity, purpose, and ethical design

Community & Housing
High-end accommodations in the upscale Five Towns area—a vibrant Jewish community with convenient access to Manhattan and surrounding areas

  • Live with like-minded peers in fully furnished housing with modern amenities, shared kitchen, bathroom, and comfortable common areas
  • Separate gender accommodations provided
  • Optional Monday evening social and recreational activities

Retreat: June 14–21, 2026
Internship: June 21–August 2, 2026
