Event Operations Intern

The Opportunity:

As our Event Operations & Swag Intern, you’ll sit at the heart of a fast‑moving events engine, making sure every booth, conference, and customer moment is buttoned‑up, on‑brand, and unforgettable. You’ll help build and manage our event shipping calendar, coordinate materials traveling nationwide, and level up our swag game from “generic giveaway” to “wow, where’d you get that?”. You’ll collaborate with marketing, sales, and customer success, gaining real‑world experience in how events drive pipeline, relationships, and brand.

 

This role will begin as a paid internship with a defined evaluation window, with a clear growth path into a more advanced events or marketing operations position for high performers. You’ll get hands‑on ownership, space to experiment, and the chance to see your ideas come to life on the event floor.

 

About the Role
You will support the marketing/ events team with end‑to‑end coordination of event materials and swag, including planning shipping timelines, managing inventory, and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to ensure every event is fully supported.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Event material shipping

  • Build and maintain a yearly shipping calendar based on the event schedule to plan and track all event shipments.
  • Pack and ship event materials and signage, and maintain accurate inventory of all event assets.
  • Coordinate shipping logistics around a busy event calendar, sending materials nationwide to multiple events and team members.
  • Maintain storage and organization systems for all event materials and swag.
  • Schedule shipments early to optimize costs, minimize rush fees, and avoid delays.

     

Swag management

  • Order swag for events, campaigns, customers, and prospects in line with brand guidelines and budgets.
  • Brainstorm new, creative swag ideas and collaborate with the team to test and refine what works.
  • Coordinate customized swag orders for key customers and prospects to support relationship building.
  • Partner closely with Customer Success, Sales, and Marketing to source, order, and send swag for events and customer programs.
  • Track swag inventory across team members throughout the country and ensure they are stocked for upcoming events.

 

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • Passion for events and creating memorable experiences for attendees.
  • Interest in using swag to drive sales, reinforce brand awareness, and deliver meaningful, useful items that people keep.
  • Strong customer mindset with a desire to make customers and prospects feel valued through thoughtful gifts and swag.
  • Collaborative team mentality; comfortable working across departments and taking feedback.
  • Highly organized, reliable, and detail oriented, with experience managing inventory or physical assets.
  • Creativity and openness to experimentation with new swag concepts and event tactics.
  • Experience with shipping logistics and/or events is a plus.
  • Understanding of what types of event swag resonate with audiences versus what tends to be wasted is strongly preferred.
