Traffic Manager

PURPOSE:

Under the supervision of the Business Manager is responsible for the coordination and

preparation of programming logs for the stations.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Entering and maintaining traffic orders, facility orders and format for logs.

2. Preparing logs for programming.

3. Distributing and producing all reports requested of Traffic department.

4. To notify each department head about changes and new releases from Traffic System that will affect their department.

5. To research and do what is necessary to correct problems that arise from software or equipment.

6. To train new personnel on system and assist in understanding forms, etc.

7. Provide service to the Sales Department as required by Director of Sales & Vice President and/or Market Manager.

8. Monitor the proper working order of all computer equipment and software related to the traffic system and notify supervisor of any issues regarding performance.

9. Provide backup for the other traffic personnel.

10. Other duties as assigned by the Business Manager.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

This position requires at least a high school education, preferably with a computer course from a business or professional school and have one or more years of experience in computers and in the development and preparation of radio programming logs.
