Design Intern

Design | Internship

New York Office

Full-time (40 hours / week), On-Site/Hybrid

We’re looking for a Design Intern with a strong foundation in product design and/or visual design, with a passion for turning real user needs into clear, shippable experiences. You’ll help shape product direction by translating insights into flows, prototypes, and polished UI—while also crafting the story of why we’re building it, and communicating that story through demos and narratives. This role is ideal for someone curious about AI-powered products and excited to work in a fast-moving, highly autonomous environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and prototype end-to-end product experiences in Figma, focusing on usability, clarity, and narrative flow.
  • Translate complex product ideas into clear visual stories through interactive prototypes, demo videos, and UI animations.
  • Create high-fidelity product concepts and demos used in client-facing presentations and external partnerships.
  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and marketing to ensure designs communicate intent, value, and user impact.
  • Contribute to and evolve our design system, including AI-informed interaction and visual patterns.
  • Support product storytelling across marketing touchpoints (website, social, media campaigns).
  • Understand integration opportunities for AI agents and agentic frameworks in B2B workflows.
  • Proactively recommend improvements to streamline creative processes.
  • Present design concepts to the team and contribute to collaborative discussions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Product Design, UX/UI, HCI. Visual Design, or a related field.
  • Portfolio that demonstrates:
    • Strong product thinking
    • Clear user flows and interaction design
    • Ability to tell a compelling story through visuals, motion, or prototypes
  • Proficiency in Figma and After Effects ; experience with other motion tools is a strong plus.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered design tools or interest in designing AI-driven products.
  • Strong communication, time management, and self-direction skills.
  • We will prioritize candidates who can start immediately.

Nice To Have

  • Experience creating product demos or explainer-style prototypes.
  • Understanding of B2B or SaaS product workflows.
  • Interest in AI, automation, and emerging product paradigms.
