WHO WE ARE

Sekai is the first app that lets you build your own mobile apps just by typing.

You know how you can make a video on TikTok? Sekai lets you make interactive mini-apps (we call them "Jams") just as easily. You don't need to code. You just type what you want, and our AI builds a real, working app instantly.


 

WHAT IS A JAM?

It’s not just a video—it’s something your friends can actually use, play with, and remix.

• The "Digital Holiday Card": Instead of a boring text, you build an interactive Christmas card with music, hidden photos, and a "gift reveal" button to send to your best friend.

• The "Remixable" Guide: You build a "My NYC Food Guide" app with map locations and photos of your favorite pizza spots—then your friends remix it to add THEIR favorite spots.

• The "Group Chat" Quiz: You type "Make a quiz to see which one of my roommates said this quote," and send the link to your group chat to settle the debate.


 

THE ROLE

We are looking for Tastemakers. You don't need to be a developer—you need to have incredible creative taste.

We are looking for people who can look at a vibe, a meme, or an inside joke and instantly know how to convert that taste into a Jam. You aren't just making content; you are translating culture into interactive experiences.


 

WHO YOU ARE

• You are "Terminally Online": You live on the internet. You know what the "6'5" / Finance" song is before it hits the radio. You understand the "Charlie Kirk" meme format. You know what is trending RIGHT NOW and you know when a trend is already dead.

• You Have Great Taste: You curate your life well—whether it's your playlists, your fits, or your IG stories. You know what looks good.

• You Understand "Social Currency": You know WHY people share things (to look funny, smart, or sentimental).


 

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Convert Culture into Apps: You will take what is happening in pop culture and turn it into playable content.

• Design for the "Send" Button: You will build Jams specifically designed to be shared. (Think: Interactive invitations, personality tests for friends, or "Roast Your Roommate" generators).

• Spark the Remix: You will build the "base layers" (like a template for a "Day in the Life" app) that make it easy for other students to jump in, swap the photos, and make it their own.

STEP 2: THE CHALLENGE (THE VIRAL TEST)

Create 3 Sekai Jam Demos.

IMPORTANT: The examples we gave above (Holiday Cards, Food Guides) are honestly a bit basic. We believe YOU have much better ideas. We want you to think: "What would my friends actually freak out over if I sent this to the group chat?"

  1. The "Shareable" Jam: Create something designed to be sent to a specific friend or group.
  2. The "Remixable" Jam: Create a Jam that acts as a template for others to use.
  3. Wildcard: Show us something we haven't seen before.


 

STEP 3: SUBMIT
