Copywriter

We’re seeking a Copywriter who thrives on crafting compelling narratives and translating complex topics into accessible, engaging content.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Write persuasive, high-impact copy for a variety of channels, including websites, social media, blogs, newsletters, and thought-leadership articles.
  • Translate complex concepts—especially in finance and business—into clear, engaging, audience-friendly messaging.
  • Develop content that supports credibility and thought leadership for executive and enterprise-level brands, including LinkedIn posts and sales presentations.
  • Collaborate with marketing strategists, designers, and industry experts to align messaging with business goals.
  • Ensure all content adheres to brand voice, client guidelines, and relevant regulations.
  • Stay current on industry developments and emerging trends in digital content and financial technologies.
  • Optimize content for SEO and engagement using research and basic analytics.
  • Edit and proofread copy with a meticulous eye for detail.

Qualities & Experience

Required (or equivalent educational experience):

  • Strong writing and editing skills, with a portfolio that may include class projects, internships, campus publications, freelance work, or professional samples.
  • Demonstrated ability to simplify complex topics for diverse audiences.
  • Interest in finance, business, or other technical/regulated subjects and a willingness to learn.
  • Comfort working on multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

  • 3+ years of experience as a copywriter, content writer, or journalist (internships and contract work considered).
  • Portfolio demonstrating writing samples in digital channels such as social media, blogs, newsletters, and thought-leadership content.
  • Familiarity with SEO, keyword research, and content analytics.
  • Awareness of compliance considerations in content marketing or regulated industries.
  • Exceptional editing and proofreading skills.
