Job Summary
We are currently seeking an Entry-Level Human Resources Associate to join our team in our Jericho, NY office. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic and growing public accounting firm. The position is ideal for recent college graduates who are interested in Human Resources and eager to build a career in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Assisting with HR tasks such as onboarding, firm events and initiatives, compliance, audit scheduling, campus recruiting, employee relations, and other HR functions
- Supporting campus recruiting efforts including career fairs, candidate communication, interview coordination, and tracking
- Utilizing a variety of HR databases and systems (Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Word, etc.) to ensure accuracy and completeness of records
- Shadowing experienced HR team members during interviews, phone calls and other daily responsibilities
- Entering and updating information in HR databases under supervision, ensuring accuracy and completeness
- Collaborating with the audit department to coordinate scheduling client engagements
- Proactively demonstrating a willingness to learn and attain greater knowledge on a continual basis, looking to build technical skill base and seeking additional work
- Working independently and collaboratively within a team environment and building and maintaining rapport with fellow employees
- Seeking opportunities to contribute to training, recruiting, and retention efforts, supporting firm-wide and departmental goals
- Ensuring compliance with applicable professional standards and firm policies
- Meeting project deadlines and managing time efficiently across multiple engagements/projects
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required; preferred majors include Human Resources, Business, Communications, Psychology, or related fields
- Open to entry-level candidates and recent college graduates
- Candidates with a degree in accounting and an interest in pursuing a career in Human Resources are encouraged to apply
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Ability and willingness to work additional hours as needed and to travel for campus recruiting events
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and initiative skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; willingness to learn HR systems and tools
- U.S. work authorization required; we do not sponsor or transfer work visas
- Must maintain a high level of professionalism and demonstrate respect for others
- Ability to work on-site in our Jericho office.

Compensation for this role is determined based on a combination of factors, including but not limited to your relevant experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
