We are seeking students who want to develop strong communication skills and contribute directly to improving patient care. As a Patient Experience Intern at Kent Hospital, you’ll meet with patients during their hospital stay, listen to their experiences, and help ensure that concerns are addressed promptly and compassionately.

You will gain meaningful exposure to the clinical environment while collaborating with healthcare professionals who are passionate about service excellence.

What You’ll Do

Round on patients in assigned inpatient units to gather experience feedback

Help resolve concerns by partnering with nurses and support staff

Participate in daily unit huddles and understand team workflows

Assist with outreach to recently discharged patients

Support ongoing projects and initiatives led by Patient Experience leadership

Observe how hospitals use patient feedback data to drive improvement

Weekly hours arranged based on student availability and academic schedules - 20 hours weekly is standard
