About DEION
DEION is a map-driven marketplace that helps people discover and shop mission-driven local businesses. Owners can list products, enable pickup/shipping, and (optionally) boost visibility via Featured Business plans and Product Spotlights/Event Boosts.
What you’ll do
- Prospect & outreach to local small businesses (street, events, DMs, phone/email).
- Onboard & activate new businesses on DEION (the “AB” milestone):
- Create/claim profile, add ≥ 3 products with images & pricing, and configure one processing type (e.g., pickup, shipping, or service).
- Monetize accounts (the “MB” milestone):
- Support the first $50 in platform revenue (orders and/or optional visibility plans).
- Offer optional visibility: present Featured Business plans (Neighborhood/City/Metro) and Product Spotlights; schedule Event Boosts around local happenings.
- Optional event outreach, attend local events, be the face of DEION in your city, record short videos in your city.
- Stay organized: maintain a simple pipeline, and share feedback to improve our playbook.
Compensation (simple + transparent)
- $50 per Monetization (MB) once the account posts $50 platform revenue.
- 10% revenue share for 60 days (no cap) on your accounts (applies to DEION’s platform revenue: transaction fees + any paid visibility plans).
- $25 for each video chosen to be our daily post on social media.
- Payouts: Milestones weekly; rev share monthly.
- Typical part-time range: ~$600–$1,500+/month depending on AB/MB output and attach to visibility.
Not MLM. No fees. You’re paid for concrete milestones and short, time-boxed revenue share.
You’re a great fit if…
- You enjoy talking with local owners (Food & Bev, retail, services, makers) and can set up a simple online offering fast.
- You’re energized by events, demos, and neighborhood outreach.
- You’re organized, reliable, and comfortable with lightweight tools (Notion/Google Sheets).
- Nice to have: customer service/sales/brand ambassador experience; access to transportation for in-person visits.
Time & logistics
- 10–20 hours/week with flexibility; evenings/weekends helpful for events.
- 1099 contractor: you manage your time and methods; we provide the playbook and support.
What you’ll learn
- Practical SMB go-to-market, event field ops, and account activation.
- Light ecommerce merchandising (product photos, pricing, tags) and visibility planning (Featured Business, Product Spotlights, Event Boosts).
- Territory planning, outreach scripts, and owner success follow-ups.
