Boston Area Promoter

Background: Toast! Supplements (“Toast!”) is a venture capital funded startup best known for its Before You Drink Gummy, a gummy powered by clinically researched natural ingredients that help restore key nutrients and support your liver AND your mornings. Toast! is an omnichannel brand that sells directly to consumers online as well as wholesale through a variety of channels including retailers like Urban Outfitters, hotels and resorts, and more. Toast! recently launched a new version of this flagship product, and as part of our launch we are seeking Boston area promoters to give away gummies and promotional materials outside of events like Boston Bruins/Celtics games and in other areas as are determined by Toast! management.
 

Job Details: Promoters under the supervision of Toast! personnel will distribute packs of our Before You Drink Gummies as well as promotional materials like discount cards, koozies, etc. Promoters will actively engage with potential Toast! consumers in public areas, as well as potentially in private establishments (e.g. bars/clubs that Toast! has arranged a promotion with). Promotions will typically last approximately two hours. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Extroverted and outgoing nature; no one is a stranger to you
• Experience with promotions, cold calling, sampling, or other in person direct outreach (retail a plus, but not as preferred as the aforementioned)
• Comfortable in crowds

Minimum Qualifications: 

• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program
• Age 21+
• Must reside in the Greater Boston area with ready access to central Boston
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Self-starter, able to work on own initiative
• Proficient with Google Product Suite (Google Drive, Google Docs, etc) preferred
