Choreographer - Theatre (Internship)

SEEKING: Youth Theatre Choreographer

We are looking for a choreographer to join our production team for youth musical theatre (ages 8–18) for our Spring 2026 mainstage production.

Ideal candidate is:

• Highly creative and thinks outside the box

• Quick on their feet - able to work in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent with time management and meeting deadlines

• Strong at building clean storytelling movement

• Able to teach technique + musicality in a safe, supportive process

• Patient, fun, and collaborative with young performers of all levels

• Reliable - will do everything they can to be at every rehearsal

• Punctual - always early and arrives before students do

• Must be confident in breaking down choreography to teach efficiently and able to adapt to mixed level dancers.

• Professional at all times

• Availability - some weeknights required, tech week, and occasional weekend rehearsals

• Must be able to pass a background check & drug test

Experience working with children in a theatre or performing arts setting is strongly preferred.
