IT Systems & Support Technician
This is a full-time, onsite position based in Redmond, Washington.

This role is ideal for someone eager to grow into advanced responsibilities, independently drive projects, and act as a technical project manager with minimal oversight.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide front-line technical support, troubleshooting hardware/software issues, and delivering desktop support across multiple platforms
- Manage onboarding/offboarding IT tasks (PC build-out, dev kit setup, etc.)
- Maintain and optimize a large fleet of test devices (Windows, Android, Chrome OS, etc.)
- Transition lab operations to cloud-hosted environments
- Develop and deploy automation scripts (PowerShell or similar)
- Set up lab infrastructure (racking, cabling, servers, provisioning)
- Own and improve processes for managing technical requests, tracking issues, and communicating status
- Deliver both tactical (day-to-day) and strategic (long-term) IT projects
- Evaluate and recommend hardware solutions for diverse technical needs
- Monitor, maintain, and secure servers, networks, and computer systems
- Implement system updates, patches, backups, and disaster recovery operations
- Ensure compliance with security, privacy, and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and enhance system performance
- Document IT procedures and system configurations
- Independently drive projects to completion, acting as a technical project manager:
- Develop project plans and timelines
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks
- Communicate project status and milestones to stakeholders
- Facilitate team meetings and stakeholder reviews
- Track KPIs and project outcomes
- Capture lessons learned and implemented best practices
Qualifications
- 3–5 years’ experience in IT operations or similar roles
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, C# preferred)
- Deep knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux), as well as using and automating Azure and XML
- Experience with network administration, security, and Azure virtual machines
- Familiarity with corporate IT environments (AAD, AD, Directory Services, SharePoint, ADO)
- Experience with ITIL-based helpdesk systems and ticketing platforms (JIRA, Autotask, Kaseya, etc.)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Service-minded, positive, can-do attitude
- Must be able to commute to Redmond, WA
- Background check required for this role
- Must be authorized to work in the US
Highly Recommended:
- Experience in IT operations/engineering for a game studio
- Certifications: CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate
- Experience troubleshooting client issues in complex corporate environments
- Experience in technical lab environments and front-line IT operations
