Peer Recovery Supervisor

As a Peer Recovery Supervisor with BCCS, you will:
- Conducts and promotes staff orientation, development, and on-going training.
- Complies with all BCCS policies and procedures and ensure that all staff follows them as well.
- Maintain contractual outcome requirements, data collections, and monthly reports.
- Assigns clients to peers/case managers.
- Provides outreach and educational activities in the community.
- Participates in BCCS subcommittees, committees and meetings.
- Provides direction to, supervises and evaluates via daily observation and annual staff performance reviews to staff.
- Assists Program Manager in the hiring and termination processes.
- Ensures that peers/counselors follow agency policies and procedures.
- Acts as Program Manager in the absence of the Program Manager.
- Assists Program Manager in preparing for audits and other licensing and accreditation reviews.
- Provides work-related counseling, administers corrective action and addresses grievances of the staff according to BCCS policies and procedures.
- Resolves client/peer conflicts.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent - Required
- 3 years' experience in Substance Abuse/Addiction Medicine - Required
- Certified Peer Specialist (CPRS) or CADC - Preferred
- Bachelor's in behavioral science – Preferred
Schedule: 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Salary: Starting at $21/hour, commensurate based on experience and education!
