Business Development Intern
The role of the Business Development intern is to support building a commercialization strategy for Agents of Influence and help implement strategies to determine the effectiveness of these strategies. This will include work on building partnerships, finding exhibiting opportunities, and more.

Location and Work Environment
This is a fully remote position, allowing you the flexibility to work from home or another suitable location. To succeed in this role, you’ll need:
- Reliable Internet Connection: A stable high-speed internet connection (minimum 20 Mbps) is required for video conferencing and accessing company tools.
- Equipment: You should have access to a reliable computer with a webcam and a headset. If needed, the company can provide additional equipment to support your work.
- Workspace: A quiet, distraction-free workspace is essential for meetings and focused work.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development Responsibilities
- Explore business model options and test each iteratively.
- Develop distribution strategies.
- Build and manage curriculum partnerships across core areas.
- Identify and recruit commission-based salespeople.
- Analyze different budgets we fit into and how to access them.
- Assist in grant writing and finding grant partnership systems with schools and other organizations.
- Test the parent or student market for ease of entry.
- Establish channel partnerships for microschooling, charter schools, and homeschooling.
- Partner with professional development and micro-credential organizations for promotion and employment opportunities.
- Identify cross-selling options to increase income packaged by areas of interest.
- Develop strategies to work with and monetize partnerships within the misinformation ecosystem (e.g., platforms like TikTok, tools like Allsides).
Additional Responsibilities
- Work in a timely fashion to meet deadlines and support team projects.
- Adapt to new tasks and responsibilities as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to learn.
Compensation and Benefits
This is an unpaid internship. There is potential to grow into a paid role.
