About the Brand

Elli Parr is a Vermont-based demi-fine jewelry brand and lifestyle boutique known for our modern, handcrafted designs and experiential retail flagship in South Burlington. Our store is a creative studio and community hub — offering jewelry, gifts, DIY jewelry-making, and events.

We’re looking for a creative, confident, and social-media-savvy content creator who loves being both behind the camera and in front of it.

Role Overview

The Content Creator will capture photo and video content, appear in short-form videos and reels, and help produce engaging storytelling across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
You’ll work directly with the founder and marketing team to grow Elli Parr’s online presence through visually stunning, authentic, and trend-driven content.

This is a hands-on role for someone who’s passionate about social media, loves fashion and jewelry, and enjoys being part of the creative process — including stepping into the spotlight.

What You’ll Do

• Capture and edit photo and video content in-store (products, styling, behind-the-scenes, events).
• Create short-form videos and Reels that feature you and/or our team interacting naturally with products and store moments.
• Be comfortable appearing on camera to model jewelry, narrate videos, or showcase the brand experience.
• Collaborate on creative concepts, trends, and campaign ideas.
• Assist with editing and scheduling social media posts.
• Capture live content at in-store events and workshops.

Who You Are

• Skilled with photography and videography (smartphone or DSLR).
• Confident and comfortable being on camera (for Reels, TikToks, or brand features).
• Proficient with CapCut, Lightroom, Canva, or Adobe Creative Suite.
• Active on social media with a good understanding of what performs well on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.
• Creative, self-motivated, and reliable with a strong sense of visual style.
• Passionate about fashion, jewelry, small business, and storytelling.

Bonus Points

• You’ve managed or grown your own personal social media presence or influencer brand.
• Experience with influencer or brand collaborations.
• Familiarity with social scheduling or analytics tools (Later, Planoly, etc.).

Details

• Location: In-person at Elli Parr Jewelry, South Burlington, VT
• Schedule: approx. 10 hours per week, flexible with class schedule
• Compensation: Paid internship or part-time paid contractor role 
• Duration: Semester-long with potential for extension or growth
