Northwood Safety Skills LLC is a Wisconsin-based training organization committed to empowering communities through life-saving education and wellness training. Our certified instructors travel throughout the state to provide hands-on training to diverse populations and communities, this remote role will support the online and outreach efforts. This is a great internship requirements fulling role for the Spring 2025 term!

 

We offer a variety of courses including:

• First Aid

• CPR 

• Wilderness First Aid

• Babysitter Training

• And other community-focused safety programs.

About the Role

 

Northwood Safety Skills LLC is seeking a Marketing and Public Relations Coordinator to help grow our presence, build meaningful partnerships, and share our mission across Wisconsin.

 

This position is ideal for someone who combines creativity in marketing with a working knowledge of first aid or CPR training. You’ll be responsible for creating branded materials, managing communications, and assisting with sponsorship outreach — all while supporting the mission of a company dedicated to community safety.

 

Responsibilities

• Design and produce marketing materials including postcards, brochures, flyers, and promotional content

• Manage and grow the company’s social media accounts with engaging graphics and posts

• Draft and distribute email newsletters to keep communities and partners informed

• Update and maintain the company website with new content and visuals

• Support sponsorship outreach and collaboration with businesses, alumni, and partner organizations

• Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all platforms

• Contribute creative ideas for campaigns and community engagement initiatives

 

Qualifications

• Must reside in the United States (remote position)

• Experience or certification in First Aid, CPR, or related training required

• Experience in graphic design (Canva)

• Familiarity with major social media platforms

• Basic website editing skills preferred (GoDaddy)

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently

• Strong organizational and time management skills
