Jr. Software Engineer
Plano Texas (100% onsite)
6 months contract + possibility of extension
Key Responsibilities
- Automate log analysis using Python, Shell, or Perl scripting.
- Document troubleshooting steps and maintain technical documentation.
- Conduct audits (parameters, signatures, SW/firmware) and support patch/software upgrades.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to drive resolutions.
- Provide ticket updates and clear communication to internal/external teams.
- Participate in 24/7 on-call support rotation for outages and critical issues.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Telecom, Network Engineering, or related field.
- 2+ years of wireless telecom experience (or equivalent project/academic work for new grads).
- Basic knowledge of UNIX/Linux systems.
- Hands-on scripting skills (Python, Shell, Perl).
- Strong communication & documentation skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Willingness to work weekends, rotating shifts, and occasional nights.
