Jr. Software Engineer

Plano Texas (100% onsite)

6 months contract + possibility of extension

Key Responsibilities

• Automate log analysis using Python, Shell, or Perl scripting.
• Document troubleshooting steps and maintain technical documentation.
• Conduct audits (parameters, signatures, SW/firmware) and support patch/software upgrades.
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to drive resolutions.
• Provide ticket updates and clear communication to internal/external teams.
• Participate in 24/7 on-call support rotation for outages and critical issues.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecom, Network Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years of wireless telecom experience (or equivalent project/academic work for new grads).
• Basic knowledge of UNIX/Linux systems.
• Hands-on scripting skills (Python, Shell, Perl).
• Strong communication & documentation skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• Willingness to work weekends, rotating shifts, and occasional nights.
