Marketing Intern

We’re looking for a creative, organized, and socially aware Marketing Intern to join our team. This is a learning-focused role designed to provide hands-on experience in ethical marketing, audience engagement, and content strategy within the mental health field. You will work closely with our leadership team to help shape our digital presence, support community outreach initiatives, and elevate the NTG brand with authenticity and care.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with NTG’s leadership team to develop and refine a thoughtful, brand-aligned social media strategy
  • Research current trends in mental health, therapy, and digital marketing
  • Brainstorm and pitch engaging content ideas across platforms (Instagram, TikTok, email)
  • Support content planning and development (graphics, captions, post scheduling, reels support)
  • Assist with community outreach and brand partnerships, including research and event coordination
  • Monitor audience engagement and track key social media metrics
  • Participate in team meetings and brainstorming sessions

 

Skills & Qualities

  • Strong interest in ethical marketing, storytelling, and brand strategy
  • Familiarity with social media platforms, especially Instagram and TikTok
  • Creative thinker with an eye for design, trends, and mental health culture
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
  • Organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
  • Receptive to feedback and eager to learn
  • Passion for mental health, community care, and inclusive practices

 

Minimum Requirements

  • Current undergraduate or graduate student in marketing, communications, psychology, social work, public health, or a related field
  • Availability to commit 8–12 hours per week for at least one academic semester
  • Basic knowledge of Canva, social media apps, and social media tools (e.g., Buffer)
  • Previous experience with social media content creation, brand work, or community organizing
