Hope Ambassador

Sharing Hope Africa is looking for a passionate, enthusiastic changemakers who want to make a tangible difference in the world before the year is over. 

This application is for the first ever Hope Ambassador program, where you'll gain professional skills and tackle a challenge that will prove that you are capable of doing anything. 

As a Hope Ambassador, you'll join our team just in time for the most exciting part of the year: Giving Tuesday. 

This year, our Giving Tuesday goal is focused on increasing access to education. We're on a mission to fund Sharing Hope Preschool in Mozambique for the entire 2026 school year, ensuring 100+ orphans and vulnerable children can go to school and be fed each day. And we need a team to make that happen.

What you'll do: 

• Work with Sharing Hope Africa co-founders to plan your own campaign
• Develop creative assets to be used for the campaign
• Recruit and inspire additional team members 
• Create and deliver a pitch for board members and potential donors to secure funding
• Meet weekly with co-founders for brainstorming sessions and feedback
• Act as an ambassador for Sharing Hope Africa, and advocate for Sharing Hope Preschool in Mozambique

What you'll get: 

• Experience in project planning and management (which is useful in pretty much ANY job)
• Mentorship and guidance from professionals in consulting and engineering
• Resume and LinkedIn profile review (optional - one co-founder used to work at a resume writing company)
• Internship/course credit (if needed)
• Feeling seriously accomplished because you helped do a hard thing
• Bi-weekly career conversations with professionals across different industries
