Pastry Assistant Intern- Disneyland Hotel Dessert Launch + Corporate Activation

We are in our last round of hiring as we seek enthusiastic, dependable, and personable seasonal interns to join our dynamic team for exciting holiday activations at a premier Southern California destination in Anaheim. Interns will gain hands-on experience in  a real world  baking and hospitality environment supporting the launch of our new dessert line through a special event at the Disneyland Hotel.

This is an exciting corporate activation festival centered around our signature Island Swirls™ and Mila's Famous Banana Pudding! We are seeking motivated Pastry Assistants to support our Executive Chef in delivering this unique culinary experience. 

You will be working in a vibrant and fast-paced environment to help create delightful pastries that captivate our audience for the holiday season. 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in rolling out dough to specified thickness with precision.
  • Help stuff dough with consistent filling.
  • Aid in cutting dough into uniform swirls, ensuring high-quality presentation.
  • Support in topping pastries with mango, ube, coconut, and various sprinkles.
  • Assist with packaging finished pastries efficiently for distribution.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace.
  • Adhere to food safety and quality control standards.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Some of the requirements include guest-facing role with operational responsibilities and lots of walking—perfect for someone who enjoys interacting with people, staying organized, and being part of a festive environment.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in a kitchen or bakery setting preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and complete tasks on time.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety regulations is a plus.

Position Details:
   •    Dates: Mid-November through early January (approx. 7 weeks), however we will start training in October
   •    Shifts: 8 hours, with weekends and holidays required. Interns must be available for the full 7 weeks. 
   •    Pay: $16.50/hr based on experience
