Job Description

We are excited to offer a Government Affairs Internship Program for students interested in public policy, international relations, and regulatory affairs. This program provides hands-on experience working with our Government Affairs team to support advocacy, research, and stakeholder engagement across Mexico, Philippines, and Brazil.

As a Government Affairs Intern, you will gain exposure to the intersection of business, policy, and government relations. You will assist in monitoring legislative and regulatory developments, conducting policy research, preparing briefing materials, and supporting the planning and execution of government relations initiatives.

 

Key Responsibilities

Track and analyze legislative, regulatory, and political developments in priority markets.

Assist in preparing reports, briefing notes, and presentations on public policy issues.

Support the team in building and maintaining relationships with policymakers, government agencies, and industry stakeholders.

Conduct research on political, economic, and policy issues to inform advocacy strategies.

Participate in internal meetings and contribute to cross-functional projects.

Assist with planning events, meetings, and campaigns related to government affairs.

Qualifications

 

 Qualifications:

  • Current undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in Political Science, International Relations, Public Policy, Law, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 is required.
  • Strong interest in public policy, government relations, and international affairs.
  • Excellent research, analytical, and writing skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Professional fluency in English; proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese a plus.
  • Highly organized with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.

Additional Information

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY:  The hourly rate for this position is anticipated to range between $25.00 – $30.00. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the qualifications necessary for the position, including experience, training, and other considerations permitted by law. Factors that may be used when making an offer may include a candidate’s skills, experience, and geographic location, the expected quality and quantity of work, and internal pay alignment, as needed. Most candidates will start in the bottom half of the pay range. The upper end of the range will generally be reserved for candidates with extensive experience. An employee’s pay history will not be a contributing factor where prohibited by local law. In addition to monetary compensation, we offer a competitive benefits package, including Medical/Dental/Vision insurance, Company-matching 401(k), Employee Stock Purchase Program, and Tuition Reimbursement, in addition to other programs and perks.
