Front-End iOS Developer (Swift)

We are seeking a skilled Front-End iOS Developer to join our team and work closely with the company founders to bring our vision to life. This is a project-based role focused on refining and expanding an existing alpha version of our iOS application—not building from scratch. You’ll apply high-fidelity wireframes, implement UI/UX improvements, and deliver iterative revisions that will prepare the app for broader release.

Responsibilities

Collaborate directly with the founders to understand project goals, requirements, and vision.

Translate high-fidelity wireframes into functional and visually polished iOS application features.

Build on top of an existing alpha version—refining, improving, and extending current functionality.

Optimize app performance and responsiveness for a seamless user experience.

Implement best practices in version control, testing, and maintainability.

Participate in milestone reviews and adjust implementation based on feedback.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proficiency in Swift as the primary language for iOS development.

Strong understanding of UIKit and/or SwiftUI, Auto Layout, and responsive design.

Experience integrating API-driven data into front-end applications.

Familiarity with Xcode, Git, and version control workflows.

Strong grasp of UI/UX best practices and ability to translate wireframes into functional code.

Experience building on and iterating existing codebases.

Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate closely with non-technical founders.

Self-starter mindset with strong problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

Familiarity with iOS app deployment lifecycle (TestFlight, App Store submission).

Experience with third-party SDKs and libraries.

Knowledge of accessibility standards and performance optimization.

Prior work in startup or early-stage environments.

Compensation

$5,000 total project pay
