Social Media Intern
Position description
Ready to spread the word about body-positive romance books? The Social Media Intern will manage the social media content for the warehouse, as well as be on livestream videos and interact with commenters. This role requires technical proficiency in capturing and editing content, as well as being highly professional while livestreaming on various social media platforms. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively with other team members.
Responsibilities
Content Creation
- Capturing various video and photo content of the warehouse (ex. Packing orders, book stacks, etc.)
- Using an editing app to edit the videos. splice together, add voice over using an iPhone/tablet
- Posting the videos on TikTok and/or Instagram
Live Video Selling
- Going Live on various platforms, specifically TikTok to promote and sell books
- Being professional and answering all questions that commenters may have
- Adjusting Sales during the Live to increase both sales and viewership
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Highly professional in customer-facing communications
- Ability to be on a livestream video and interact with commenters
- Ability to film and voice over videos using iPhone/tablet
- Proficiency with Google tools, especially Google Calendar, Google Drive, and Gmail.
- Strong written communication skills.
- Experience using Canva for graphic design
- Familiarity with using a video editing app (ex. CapCut or Canva)
