Pay Range: $14.90 to $20.16
Actual pay will be based on various factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies, proficiency for the role, and internal equity. Our Audio-Visual (AV) Department, located in La Crosse, WI is seeking a Production Intern to coordinate and execute the digitizing and archiving of historical media. In this entry-level role, you will learn how effective file organization of video, audio and photography is crucial to the production process.
In this role, you may be required to support the team with other day-to-day activities around the studio and out in the field. Assistance with the maintaining and cataloging of production equipment will also be required.
Qualifications:
- Currently attending school for Communications, Audio Production, Media, or related field of study.
- Understanding of basic photography and video systems and components.
- Knowledge of basic video editing processes and current video trends.
- Knowledge of and basic aptitude of Adobe Creative Apps, and Mac OS.
- Highly organized and careful attention to detail.
- Self-motivation with a desire to learn.
- Well-developed communication skills, both verbally and written.
- Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.
- Ability to work independently, as well as with a team.
Prior experience working with both video and photography equipment and a working knowledge of video editing software, particularly Adobe Premiere Pro, is desirable.
