Sales Development Representative, Internship

About the Internship Program

Verkademy is Verkada's accelerated training program designed to fast-track high-potential individuals into successful sales professionals. As an SDR Intern, you'll gain hands-on experience in a dynamic sales environment, learning the fundamentals of tech sales and preparing for a potential full-time role post-graduation.

What You'll Do

  • Prospect, qualify, and follow up on leads to generate sales opportunities.
  • Educate potential customers on Verkada's product offerings and value propositions.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to schedule and prepare for sales meetings.
  • Utilize CRM and sales enablement tools to track and manage leads.
  • Participate in sales training sessions and workshops to develop sales skills.
  • Contribute to team goals and initiatives, providing support where needed.

What You Bring

  • Currently a junior pursuing a Bachelor's degree, with at least one more semester remaining after the internship.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Self-motivated with a desire to learn and grow in a sales career.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
  • Comfortable engaging with professionals in a business setting.
  • Previous experience in customer-facing roles is a plus but not required.
