About the Role:
We are seeking a creative Web Developer to design, develop, and maintain high-quality web applications and websites. The ideal candidate has a strong understanding of front-end and back-end technologies, user experience principles, and is able to deliver responsive, scalable, and efficient web solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, test, and maintain web applications and websites using modern web technologies.
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to create seamless user experiences.
- Optimize web applications for speed, scalability, and security.
- Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs or performance issues.
- Implement responsive UI & UX and ensure accessibility standards are met.
- Provide guidance and assistance in marketing campaigns and related activities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Currently in junior or senior year OR bachelor's degree in IT, computer science, marketing or any related field.
- Knowledge of the following platforms: Odoo and Shopify.
- Proficiency in HTML, XML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of back-end technologies like Python.
- Familiarity with databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and RESTful APIs.
- Experience with version control systems (Git).
- Understanding of web security principles and responsive design.
Soft Skills:
- Be agile and flexible in times of slow- and fast-paced activity.
- Capable of working independently as well as in a teamwork setting.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Creative and out-the-box suggestions.
Nice to Have's:
- Previous work experience in using Notion.
- Knowledge of digital marketing concepts such as SEO, PPC, etc.
- Previous work experience in e-commerce.
- Previous work experience in the paper and packaging industry.
- Excellent communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
What's in it for You?
- Salary: TBD
- Full-time (30 hours per week)
- 2 weeks vacation per year (after 6 months of hire date)
- Work location: On-site; possibility of hybrid after trial period.
