Marketing Intern
McNeelyLaw LLP has an exciting opportunity for a part-time marketing intern (with full-time potential during the summer). We are a general practice law firm with offices in Shelbyville and Carmel. Our marketing intern will assist with our law firm's marketing efforts in continuing to grow our presence in central Indiana. We are seeking a self-motivated individual who is capable of working well both individually and as part of a team. This is a hybrid position with some in-person time in our Shelbyville office required. This is an ideal position for someone interested in law as well as business, but all interested candidates are encouraged to apply.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist marketing committee with current marketing efforts.
- Evaluate current marketing efforts to determine effectiveness.
- Explore and implement new marketing practices as needed.
- Develop and implement creative marketing campaigns.
- Monitor digital campaigns and SEO.
Required Qualifications:
- A desire to excel in an often fast-paced work environment.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with a wide variety of people.
- Ability to work independently, managing competing priorities and a fluid schedule.
- Ability to work well with a variety of personalities in a team environment.
- Comfortable using a variety of computer programs as tools to improve efficiency.
- Familiarity with social media tools (namely Facebook, X, and LinkedIn) and best practices.
- Ability to present data in a clear and concise manner to the marketing committee.
- Ability to think outside the box and develop creative and innovative marketing solutions.
- Approachable personality, as you will be the point of contact for many sponsorships.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Desire to work in the legal field is a plus, but not necessary for the position.
- Experience with graphic design applications, such as Canva or Photoshop.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Basic knowledge of data analysis and be able to remove unnecessary information.
