With exciting growth on the horizon — including expanded event services — we’re looking for someone who’s ready to help us bring even more smiles to Charlotte and beyond.

The Role
As our Event Communications & Business Development Manager, you’ll be the friendly, organized point of contact who ensures every event runs seamlessly — while also driving new business opportunities. You’ll balance the details (timelines, menus, proposals, communication) with the big picture: finding new clients and creating lasting partnerships.

What You’ll Do

• Be the first point of contact for client inquiries, making every interaction warm and professional
• Build proposals, menus, and event timelines that make our clients feel confident and excited
• Coordinate with our team to make sure every detail is covered
• Keep projects organized and prepare materials for events
• Research and pursue new business opportunities (corporate, weddings, festivals, community events)
• Pitch and close deals that grow The Social Cow brand
• Earn commission for every new event you bring in 

What We’re Looking For

• Strong communicator with excellent organization skills
• A self-starter who can juggle multiple projects without missing a beat
• Experience in events, hospitality, or sales (bonus points for both!)
• Tech-savvy with project management tools (HoneyBook is a plus)
• Positive, professional, and excited to represent a growing Charlotte brand

Compensation

Competitive hourly base pay (depending on experience)

Commission on new business you secure (the sweeter the deal, the bigger your payout!)
