Live Stream Rip & Shipper: Pokemon, Magic, One Piece
About the Role
We're looking for people who love trading card games and want to turn their hobby into a job! We run high-energy, on-camera TCG box breaks and shows. We’re looking for a reliable, personable Live Stream Associate to run shows on camera, engage viewers, handle product on set, and accurately pack orders for shipment.
Responsibilities
- Host live breaks on camera (live e-commerce platforms): welcome viewers, open packs cleanly on camera, keep cards in frame, celebrate hits, and maintain a friendly, inclusive tone.
- Show flow & chat: follow the run-of-show, pace the break, answer common questions, shout out orders safely (no PII on stream), and keep engagement high.
- Studio operations: move/restock sealed cases and boxes within the studio; keep the break table organized and camera-ready.
- Pack & ship: sleeve/top-load, team-bag, label, and box orders with accuracy; follow packing checklists and quality standards.
- Learn & operate simple tools: follow checklists to start/end streams; basic use of OBS/Streamlabs or similar; print labels; follow naming/scene conventions.
- Game knowledge: bring working knowledge of at least one TCG—Pokémon, Magic, One Piece, or Gundam—and a willingness to learn the others.
Minimum Qualifications
- Comfortable speaking live on camera with a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Clear verbal communication and basic on-air pacing (introduce products, narrate pulls, handle hype moments).
- Strong attention to detail for packing and labeling; ability to follow written checklists.
- Basic computer literacy; willing to learn streaming and label tools.
- Physical ability to move inventory and equipment up to ~35–50 lbs, with or without reasonable accommodation.
Nice to Have
- Prior experience streaming or running LGS events.
- Familiarity with OBS/Streamlabs and simple audio/video setup.
- Experience in e-commerce order packing or fulfillment.
Schedule
- On-site in Midtown Manhattan.
- Available shifts include daytime, evening, late night, and weekends.
How to Apply
Please submit the following to people@hudsonhobbystudios.com:

- Short note (3–5 sentences): Which card games you know best, why you're interested in hosting, and your weekly availability.
Accommodation note: On-camera hosting is essential for this role. If you need an accommodation to complete or submit the video, email people@hudsonhobbystudios.com and we’ll work with you to find an adjustment that keeps the video component.
Work Environment & Safety
- Studio setting with cameras, lighting, microphones, and computer equipment.
- Use of box cutters, tape guns, and packing materials.
