Product Manager Intern

Dark Sides Lab is the world’s first AI HS (Honesty & Safety) watchdog: exposing the dark side of fake, overhyped AI products so the tech industry can actually build something trustworthy.

We run a weekly “BS Leaderboard” that ranks AI products by exaggerated claims, bad UX, fake reviews, and broken promises. Our research blends investigative reports, user review scraping, product testing, and community voting.

If you’re tired of AI snake oil and want to help the world see the truth behind the hype, DSL is the place.

Product Manager (PM) Intern – Truth Architect

What you’ll do:

  • Define BS scoring criteria (marketing hype, UX failure, founder immaturity, etc.).
  • Collect structured data on AI startups (funding, users, reviews, press).
  • Coordinate across research, design, and engineering to ship weekly leaderboard updates.
  • Write mini-consulting reports (2–3 pages) that break down product flaws like McKinsey/Bain case studies, but more fun and blunt.
  • Prioritize features (voting, comments, submission forms) in our product roadmap.

What we’re looking for:

  • Detail-obsessed; can turn messy info (Reddit rants, X comments, Trustpilot reviews) into structured insights.
  • Basic familiarity with SaaS/AI tools.
  • Interest in product strategy & market analysis.

What we offer to you

  • Working with passionate experts and being part of an exciting project
  • Lots of potential to learn new stuff about the AI revolution
  • A great team spirit and startup flair where you can grow together with us
  • Potential opportunity for full job offer
