Website Coordinator - Fishkill

We’re looking for a Website Coordinator to join our team to help keep our online presence fresh and on brand, with a focus on boosting lead conversions and improving the user experience. This role will support website updates, design improvements, and functional edits under the guidance of our Chief Marketing Officer. You’ll also collaborate with our Marketing Coordinator and Communications Associate on photography, design, and storytelling projects that bring the Healthy Kids mission to life. Ideal candidates have a good eye for design, are comfortable working within a website platform, and are eager to learn. Familiarity with responsive design and accessibility best practices is key, and some coding experience is a plus.


 

PAY: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour (based on experience)

JOB STATUS: Part-time, non-exempt
HOURS: 25-30 hours per week

LOCATION: Our headquarters in Fishkill, NY


 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Update and maintain website content and data using Wix.
  • Assist with page designs and visual improvements that enhance user experience across desktop and mobile.
  • Support creation of new pages, forms, and sections.
  • Collaborate on projects to improve navigation, layout, and site usability.
  • Ensure the site is accessible and user-friendly for all families, including those who may not be tech-savvy or have reliable access to technology.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing Coordinator and Communications Associate on photography, design, and creative projects.
  • Contribute to storytelling efforts, including interviewing families and developing blog posts or features that highlight the impact of Healthy Kids Programs.
  • Troubleshoot and edit site functions as directed.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all digital assets.
  • Monitor website performance, analyze traffic, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Conduct thorough testing to ensure the website functions correctly and meets quality standards.
  • Work collaboratively with program and registration teams to achieve website goals.
  • Focus on optimizing pages to increase lead conversions and enhance user experience.

 

 

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Some experience using Wix or other website builders (e.g., WordPress, Webflow, Squarespace).
  • Basic understanding of user experience (UX) and design principles.
  • Some graphic design ability (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar).
  • Familiarity with HTML/CSS a plus, but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Analytical mindset to review performance data and make recommendations.
  • Willingness to learn and take guidance, with the ability to work independently when needed.
