
Collectibles Pricing Analyst
About the gig
Encore is looking for a Collectibles Pricing Analyst to help us research and estimate the market value of collectibles - mainly Pokémon cards, but also retro video games, Funko Pops, and other nerdy treasures. You’ll use online marketplaces and pricing tools to track recent sales and provide accurate pricing data for our listings. This is a flexible, remote, independent contractor role - perfect for Pokémon enthusiasts who love diving into the details of collectibles.
What you’ll do
- Research and estimate prices for Pokémon cards and other collectibles using online marketplaces, sales databases, and reference websites
- Provide accurate, well-documented pricing notes for each item
- Meet agreed-upon deadlines for batches of items (flexible hours - you choose when you work)
- Communicate clearly with the team if you spot unusual or rare items
- Contribute ideas for improving pricing processes and efficiency
What we’re looking for
- Strong knowledge of Pokémon cards (TCG) and interest in collectibles (retro games, toys, Funko, etc.)
- Detail-oriented, accurate, and reliable with deadlines
- Comfortable navigating multiple websites and cross-checking data
- Independent worker - able to manage your own time and stay organized
- Prior experience with collectibles pricing or reselling is a plus (not required)
Time & pay
- ~5–10 hours/week (flexible)
- $20/hour, independent contractor (1099)
- Remote - work from anywhere
