The Role

We're seeking a versatile Marketing Specialist who combines strategic marketing expertise with UI/UX sensibilities to drive our brand forward and generate qualified leads. This role is perfect for a creative, data-driven marketer who thrives in the fintech/SaaS space and wants to make a significant impact at a growing startup.

You'll own our marketing strategy and execution, working closely with our design and sales teams to increase brand awareness and build a robust pipeline of Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) and Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs). Your dual expertise in marketing and UI/UX will be instrumental in creating compelling campaigns and improving our product experience.

You will receive full production and logistics support to execute any strategy, including an on-board team upskilled with graphic designers, writers, web developers, and a video editor!

This is an in-person position at our San Diego, CA office where you'll have direct influence on our growth trajectory and brand evolution.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Growth Marketing

  • Develop and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns to generate MQLs and SQLs
  • Create and optimize conversion funnels across digital channels
  • Implement and manage marketing automation workflows
  • Track, analyze, and report on campaign performance and ROI
  • Collaborate with sales to ensure smooth lead handoff and qualification processes

Brand & Content Strategy

  • Develop and maintain consistent brand messaging across all touchpoints
  • Create compelling content for various channels (blog, social media, email, web)
  • Manage social media presence and community engagement
  • Develop case studies, whitepapers, and sales enablement materials
  • Coordinate PR efforts and industry partnerships

UI/UX Collaboration

  • Partner with the design team on product UI/UX improvements
  • Apply user-centered design principles to marketing materials
  • Conduct user research to inform both marketing and product decisions
  • Create wireframes and mockups for landing pages and marketing assets
  • Ensure brand consistency across product and marketing touchpoints

Marketing Operations

  • Manage marketing tech stack and analytics tools
  • Develop and maintain marketing dashboards and reporting
  • Optimize SEO/SEM strategies for organic and paid growth
  • Plan and execute webinars, events, and other demand generation activities
  • Manage marketing budget and vendor relationships

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Experience: 2-5 years in B2B or B2C marketing, preferably in fintech or SaaS
  • AI Tools Proficiency: Experience leveraging AI tools for content creation, campaign optimization, and marketing automation
  • Multi-Platform Execution: Proven ability to manage and execute campaigns across multiple channels simultaneously (social, email, web, paid media)
  • Lead Generation: Proven track record of generating and nurturing qualified leads
  • Analytics: Strong analytical skills with experience in Google Analytics, marketing automation platforms, and CRM systems
  • Content Creation: Excellent writing and visual storytelling abilities
  • Technical Aptitude: Comfortable with marketing technology and quick to learn new tools

Nice-to-Have

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Design, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • UI/UX Skills: Experience with design tools (Figma, Canva, etc) - highly desired
  • Experience in cryptocurrency, mining industry or infrastructure technology
  • Experience with CRMs
  • Web development knowledge for landing page optimization
  • Video editing and motion graphics skills
  • Growth hacking or performance marketing experience
