Engineer Intern

Position Overview

The Engineer Intern will assist with engineering construction plan development, perform design calculations, conduct technology research, support site visits, and help prepare technical documents for various projects. This role is suited for candidates who thrive on learning and can operate independently once expectations are set.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the design and development of engineering or construction plans, including CAD (i.e., AutoCAD, REVIT) drafting and calculations.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to collect data and monitor progress.
  • Research technologies and materials to support project objectives.
  • Prepare and review technical documentation, reports, and presentations for accuracy.
  • Maintain precision in all engineering tasks, ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders and respond promptly to feedback.
  • Participate in meetings, provide updates, and contribute ideas for problem-solving.

Qualifications

  • Enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master’s engineering program (e.g., electrical, telecommunications & networking, civil or related).
  • Minimum GPA: 3.4
  • Familiarity with engineering software (AutoCAD, REVIT, calculation tools, Microsoft Office).
  • Problem-solving, technical writing, and teamwork skills.
