
HRIS HR Intern
Are you passionate about technology and automation? Do you thrive on finding creative ways to improve workflows and systems? Jewish Community Services (JCS), a human services agency that addresses the needs of individuals, families, and communities in the Greater Baltimore Region, is seeking a part-time HRIS Intern to join our team.
As a JCS HRIS Intern, you will support the HR department by maintaining and enhancing our Microsoft Power Automate systems, MachForm, JotForm, and other internal digital workflows. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain valuable experience in HR technology while contributing to an organization recognized as a Top Workplace for three consecutive years.
This position is 15–20 hours per week and is ideal for students or recent graduates with a strong interest in HR systems, process automation, or IT administration.
Knowledge and Skills:
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Power Automate, Forms, and SharePoint
Experience with form-building platforms such as MachForm and JotForm
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve system issues with minimal supervision
Attention to detail and strong documentation skills
Clear and professional written and verbal communication
Interest in process improvement and automation best practices
Ability to handle confidential HR data with discretion
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
Education:
Current student or recent graduate in Information Systems, Human Resources, Computer Science, or a related field
Experience:
Prior internship or project-based experience with Microsoft Automate, Power Platform, or similar systems preferred
Exposure to HR systems or administrative processes is a plus
Hourly Rate: $18.00/hr.
