About CASEY

CASEY (Clarity. Alignment. Support. Empowerment. You) is an early-stage behavioral AI venture helping young professionals find clarity in their career journey. We're building a personalized decision-support platform powered by cognitive science, LLMs, and behavioral design. Our mission is to help users get “unstuck” and move forward with confidence.

Role Overview:

We’re seeking a Subject Matter Expert (SME) with deep expertise in occupational psychology, behavioral science, or career counselling to join CASEY’s core product development team. This role is critical in validating our product assumptions, designing the behavioral frameworks, and ensuring that CASEY (our AI system) replicates the emotional intelligence, empathy, and structured guidance of a real-life coach.

The SME will act as the scientific and experiential anchor of the product—advising, co-creating, and guiding the team to build an experience rooted in real-world interactions, feasibility, and proven human behavior patterns. Your expertise will shape the clarity layer of CASEY—wherein it learns, understands, and guides users through personalized, high-impact interactions.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and validate the psychological and behavioral frameworks driving the CASEY’s user experience.
  • Work closely with the product, design, and AI teams to replicate real-life coaching dynamics inside the platform.
  • Continuously stress-test the feasibility and assumptions behind the user engagement model of CASEY.
  • Serve as the litmus test for behavioral accuracy, ethical soundness, and research validity of user flows.
  • Contribute to a research-informed product roadmap, ensuring clarity, alignment, and empowerment are deeply felt by users.
  • Translate research and field insights into actionable recommendations for UI/UX, interaction scripts, and feedback systems.

      What We’re Looking For:

  • Phd Level Expert.
  • Recognized expertise in occupational psychology, career coaching, behavioral science, or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience working directly with young adults or professionals—helping them gain clarity and alignment in career/life direction.
  • Strong research acumen, published work, or substantial field experience in applied psychology or youth development.

    Why Us?

Join CASEY as a core team member and gain equity in a mission-driven AI venture shaping the future of career guidance. You'll have the opportunity to influence product, culture, and technology from day one. This is an opportunity to change Career Development forever.
