Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and creative individual to join our team as a
Fundraising Event Planning Intern. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain
hands-on experience in event planning, fundraising, and nonprofit
management.
Responsibilities:

Event Planning and Execution:
- Assist with planning and execution of the
- 7th annual Dirty Socks 5K Run & Walkathon, helping to manage timelines,
sponsorships, silent auction, swag bags, and overall event logistics.:
Oversee event programming, coordinating performers, vendors,
and food trucks. - Work closely with the Volunteer Chairperson to allocate volunteer
support across committees. - Collect sponsor logos for marketing department
- Coordinate Swag Bags stuffing and oversee distribution at event
- Coordinate silent auction prize procurement with the committee.
- Work with Silent Auction Chairperson to ensure necessary
materials are provided. - Assist with timely and accurate data entry into donor management
system and project management software. - Oversee event setup/breakdown. Coordinate the delivery/return of
all rental inventory. Manage and maintain foundation-owned event
materials (banners, signs, tablecloths, medals, supplies, etc.).

Software Proficiency:
- Should possess strong computer skills and the ability to learn new
software quickly. Familiarity with both iOS and PC platforms is
beneficial. Should be proficient in Microsoft 365/Google
Workspace, and be/become comfortable navigating various SaaS
used in day-to-day operations such as Monday.com, Bloomerang
CRM, etc.
