Hey Fort Lauderdale! We’re Thursday Dating, the biggest IRL dating brand in the world (getthursday.com). Our mission is to reduce the need for endless swiping online and focus on bringing like-minded singles together in person, where real-life magic can happen the old-fashioned way

What We Do:

We takeover pubs, bars, gyms, restaurants, nightclubs, pottery making classes, cooking schools, museums, run clubs, theatres, dance classes, party boats, ski resorts, Bali resorts, art classes... you name it. If it involves people getting together in real life, we do it.

How We Do It:

We create safe spaces for singles to meet each other IRL and shoot their shot. With respect and kindness at the core of a Thursday event, we believe butterflies and rejection is normal and should be embraced; if you’re not someone’s type, that’s cool, move on, no hard feelings. You may not meet the love of your life at your first Thursday event, but we can guarantee you’ll meet some amazing likeminded people.

We launched in Fort Lauderdale on May 1, 2025 and we are ready to keep growing. We are seeking entrepreneurial, creative, connected, and driven hosts who see the vision and want to be a part of it.

You are:

• Brand ambassador - We’re building a brand’s reputation in the market, and you understand that you represent our brand with every interaction and touchpoint during an event from venue staff to customer. 
• Looking for a side hustle that compliments your other endeavors - you’re comfortable representing Thursday and encompassing it into your personal brand because it makes sense with everything else that you’re doing. 

What you’ll do: 

• Host the biggest dating IRL dating events in your city and run the show with your friends
• Be the eyes, ears, and face on the ground in the Fort Lauderdale region for Thursday, representing the brand everywhere you go in person and on social media
• Promote upcoming events and earn commission on tickets 
• Be a part of the decision making when it comes to planning venues, partners, dates, themes, and planning
• Network and make connections in the nightlife and hospitality industry, enjoy perks, and get invited to cool events 

We are seeking: 

• Service industry, hospitality, nightlife or event management experience
• Event promoter - You are well connected in your community or on campus within social groups, sports teams, clubs, and extracurriculars. You know how to get people to an event and keep them coming back. 
• Availability on Thursday evenings 
• Timeliness - Hosts are required to be at the event 30 minutes-sometimes up to 1 hour before event start, depending on the complexity of setup. 
• Communication - Quick responses to phone, texts and email communications. 
• Weekly 1-1 Check-Ins - To review feedback from each event, what’s working and what’s not, and strategies for market growth 
• Single and 21+? That’ll make this job way more fun.

• Content creators - Comfortable with being in front of or behind the iphone camera? We’re looking for unique, viral, and trendy UGC content produced from our events to post on social media.
• Event planning skills - Have venue or community connections? Want to plan your own events like Sip & Paint nights with your bestie who’s an artist, or maybe the bar where you’re a regular wants to co-host Tuesday Trivia? Take the lead and get support, backed by our viral brand logo and social media marketing.
